Download FireWire Video with Tech Support

FireWire was created by Apple in the 1990s and many video cameras have a built-in FireWire port for streaming and downloading the video content back to the computer. However, some computers don't have the required FireWire port installed on the system. If this is the case for your computer, you can use a USB cable with a FireWire adapter and download the video content from your camera to the computer.

However, downloading the FireWire video using the USB cable is not that tough. But with some tech support tips you can download FireWire video to your computer. For this you need to push the FireWire-to-USB adapter to the fire port of the video camera. Now you need to plug one end of the USB cable to the USB port of the adapter and the other end of the USB cable is needed to plug on into the USB port of the computer.

The tech support experts now suggest launching the video editing software to your system. Most of the computers are preinstalled with programs like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker. Now you need to switch on the video camera. You need to keep it on playback mode. Go to your video editing software and then click on “Capture”. Now select the video camera from which you want to download the video.

Computer support experts suggest that on the video camera you need to press the button “Record” , This will download all the video contents downloaded on your computer. You need to click on the button “Stop” when you have finished downloading it.
